We use old-fashioned color washes to stain our crates and wood packaging containers. Our display crates are often used with fresh produce so we always finish them with a USDA approved 'food-safe' clear coat. This "work horse" clear coat provides cleaning durability and adds a nice glow to the crates. Feel free to call if you have any questions about the stain or finish that you desire.
